Doula Services

My standard fee is $400. At the time of hiring, I require a deposit fee of $100 with the balance due by your estimated due date. Included in my package is at least one prenatal appointment, ongoing support throughout your pregnancy including resources and recommendations for anything that you may be needing, continuous doula support during labor and birth, and a postpartum visit.

What is a doula?

A doula is experienced in childbirth and provides emotional, informational, and physical support to women during their birthing time.
Just think how long women have been birthing babies.  Up until recently, you could argue when birth moved into hospitals, women have traditionally been attended and supported through out child birth by other women.  Most of the time it was fellow female family members.
It is my passion that no woman births alone.  Birthing in isolation can be a frighting experience.  I am wanting to change that.

About me

In 2009 I married the sweetest man.  The following year I graduated with a degree in political science.  We welcomed a daughter a year later and currently home school.  In 2013 we moved from Kansas to Tennessee.
Three things I enjoy:  Being out in the countryside, working out, and treasure finding (aka thrift store).  pexels-photo-208189.jpegThanks for viewing my website.

Birth is not only about making babies. It’s about making mothers~ strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and believe in their inner strength.”  – Barbara Katz Rothman
